A deep belief in education for women brought our ten Founders together in 1872. Today, the legacy of that belief lives on through the Foundation's Scholarship Program in support of teaching and learning.

Alpha Phi Foundation scholarships are made possible by our generous donors and are available to all initiated members, collegian and alumnae, in good standing with Alpha Phi Fraternity. Each year, the Foundation awards more than $140,000 in scholarships to over 70 outstanding Alpha Phis.

Recipients are selected by the Foundation Scholarship Committee on the basis of:

•       Scholastic record
•       Service to Alpha Phi and the community
•       Campus involvement
•       Recommendations

Foundation scholarships are awarded each September for use in that academic year.

Applications for the 2013-14 academic year are now closed. Please check back Fall 2013 for the 2014-15 applications.

Scholarship amounts vary each year depending on investment returns. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Alpha Phi Foundation can only fund endeavors considered charitable or philanthropic. Therefore, no grants can be used for collegiate dues and fees.
