Theta Theta- St. Joseph’s Red Dress Gala
November 1 @ 7:00 pm - November 2 @ 12:00 am
Heart disease is the number one killer of women in America, as one out of every three women die of heart disease each year. For the last 25 years, our chapter has raised over $135,000 to support programs and research that aim to find ways to prevent heart disease in women, as well as find treatments for those battling the disease. In honor, we wear red as the national symbol of women and heart disease awareness. Last year we were able to donate over $20,500 to the Alpha Phi Foundation in support of women’s heart health initiatives nationwide last year alone.
On Friday, November 1, 2018 the Theta Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi will host its 14th Annual Red Dress Gala at the Crystal Tea Room in Center City Philadelphia. Our Gala features silent auctions, music, dancing, a three-course meal and is expected to exceed over 450 attendees. Red Dress Gala is extremely important to our sisters because it offers the chance for us to come together with our families and friends, to celebrate, raise donations and awareness for a cause we are so passionate about – one that is so crucial to us personally and to our community!
