3 Ways to Boost the 2020-2021 Scholarship Program

by Rachel Ray in Impact

With December comes warm season’s greetings and the launch of Alpha Phi Foundation’s 2020-2021 Scholarship Application! All Alpha Phi members pursuing graduate or undergraduate degrees are eligible to apply. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2020. In order to share these opportunities with as many sisters as possible, below are three ways you can help boost this year’s scholarship program.

How you can help!

Share the Scholarship Program with your network of Alpha Phis
We need your help in spreading the word! While undergraduate members and chapter volunteers receive  email reminders and outreach, you can help ensure a greater impact for the Scholarship Program by sharing it in your social networks, Alpha Phi meetings, and chapter communications. You may also follow Alpha Phi Foundation on Facebook and Instagram to share posts directly to your own page or story.

Promote chapter-specific scholarships.
Generous donors have endowed academic scholarships specifically to support members of a given chapter or set of chapters close to their heart. Click here to review the full list of chapter-specific scholarships to see if your chapter sisters are eligible for this special opportunity.

Serve as an Alpha Phi alumna reference.
Each applicant is required to include a letter of recommendation from an Alpha Phi alumna. Please consider reaching out to Alpha Phi collegians, particularly newer members who may not know many alumnae, and offer to serve as their reference.

Thank you for sharing the 2020-2021 Scholarship Program with eligible Alpha Phis and for all you do to make Alpha Phi thrive! Your commitment to Alpha Phi allows us to invest in and recognize the academic excellence of our members.
